Description:A workhorse of the war, the 12-lber solid shot was frequently used to batter the enemies batteries, etc. This example differs from many in that it was a drop and still shows a good bit of the strap marks on the projectile body. Iron is good and shell displays well. It has the recovery location "Gaines Mill Va" nicely painted on the side.
