Description:First let me apologize there are no images on this shell. Due to the weather I haven't unpacked from the Franklin Show and it will be a couple days before I can get to it. I will send images if requested unless it sells. So for now the picture of the cannon in the snow falling at Kennesaw Mountain Military Park will have to suffice. :)
The quintessential projectile of the American Civil War. This type was the first shell I found back in 1973. It is one everyone wants in their collection and even most button or buckle or other stuff collectors will often have one to accent their collection for display. They were an excellent projectile for bashing trenches, wagons, etc. while still coming from an easily mobile cannon.
This ball is in good condition. There is some light ground action but is priced well.
Shell is cleaned, coated and no need to disarm.
