Gorgeous 7in Brooke shell reportedly recovered in a cache in the Pee Dee River many years ago. I am sure there are many of these there near Mars Bluff where a CS gunboat was scuttled and 3 large cannons were recently recovered, but that area is off limits now to relic hunters.

The sabot system employed a copper disc held in place by ratchet ribs cast into both the heavy sabot and shell body and secured with a center bolt

Projectile measures: diameter 6.9in., length 16.25in. (excluding fuze), weight 99lbs. Sabot is unfired. Fuze is missing but bushing is present and threads could easily be chased to take a watercap or similar sized fuse. Metal quality is solid.
