Description:Super rare shell. Clearly shows the Blakely gun rifling.

Fired from Battery F, 1st Missouri Light Artillery, USA Official Records state they fired 1,102 rounds, mostly at Confederate Fort McDermott, with a few sailing over the hill towards Battery Old Spanish Fort These are the same guns that fired the 3.5in Britten shells which most people think of as exclusively CS, but England was an equal opportunity war profiteer and both sides used the 3.5in Brittens.
